Grace + Tolu // Backyard Maryland Wedding Photography

This sweet wedding was one of the highlights of my fall season so far. Grace and Tolu are both in the music industry in NYC (you might remember their Soho engagement photos from a few weeks ago), so naturally their ceremony was filled with music that pulled at everyone's heart strings. One of my favorite parts of the day was when two of their talented friends performed a song that Grace had put on a mix CD for Tolu back in high school (during the beginning of their relationship) In the end, Tolu joined in the song and sang beautiful notes to his bride. I think everyone was tearing up just then! After their ceremony, we took some portraits in the fields behind the church, and headed to Tolu's parents' backyard for the reception. Grace hand-draw all the of the pretty signs at their reception in thrifted frames painted with chalkboard paint. They were so gorgeous - talk about multi-talented! It was a joy to see these two families and two people become one and celebrate together. Enjoy peeking into their wedding day's story!
