Columbia Maryland Documentary Candid Family Photography

This Columbia Maryland family photography session was all my dreams come true :’) I absolutely love my repeat clients, so after photographing some of them before for family photos and a wedding earlier this year, it was especially fun to document all of them together at their parents’ Maryland home. They made me feel like family and immediately made me a margarita when I walked in (no, I don’t usually drink on the job, but when they’re making cocktails for everyone and welcome me in I didn’t want to or need to say no lol.) I also think at-home family sessions are so special. While I love making photos at a beautiful park or other scenic location, there’s nothing like a special, familiar place for family photos, especially as the years go by and you look back at how both the people have grown and changed and so has the home. Thank you all for letting me hang out with you, and I can’t wait to do it again someday!
