Flowers + Food // A Class At Butterbee Farm
This fall I had the chance to teach a morning photography class at Butterbee Farm! (Butterbee is where Tom and I got all of our wedding flowers - a choice I still look back on very fondly. They're amazing!) We talked about composition, lighting, and arrangement basics, then photographed. What I love about natural light photography is that you can do a lot even if you only have a smartphone! You just have to pay attention to those key elements (lighting and composition). Three of the photos in this blog post are taken with my iPhone - can you guess which ones? I only had the chance to take individual photos of three of the six or seven who attended, but it was so very nice to meet such a creative group of farmers, designers, and flower-lovers! Thanks to all who joined us!
