Iwen and Ashwan's intimate wedding in the heart of Washington DC was so fun to be a part of. They are both such sweet, kind souls and seeing them get married with just their immediate families to witness was so beautiful. We met in Meridian Hill Park, just blocks from their home, for portraits, then rode over to the DC War Memorial for their ceremony! I love how they kept everything simple, but still included cultural elements from both sides of the family. I don't usually do this, but really, Iwen described the day so well herself in a review she surprised me with (including in her story the off and on rain forecast!). I love hearing about the day through my couples' perspectives!

"Lindsay Anne was such an amazing photographer to work with for our wedding. We were so lucky to have our timing work out so that we could get her for our wedding date. Before the wedding we talked over FaceTime and I immediately knew I wanted to have her as our photographer. She was very responsive and gave great advice on the schedule and location. As the date got closer, it began to look like we'd be getting rain so Lindsey Anne went over some backup options with us in case of rain since we were planning to do many of our photos outdoors. On the day of the wedding she continued to keep a close eye on the forecast and we decided to go with the original plan even though there was a chance of rain. Lindsey Anne was so positive throughout and immediately put us at ease when we met up. She came armed with clear umbrellas for us and was ready to go. Her photos from the wedding were incredible and she got such great shots of our families and captured the emotions and special moments from that day. As we were going through the photos we were marveling at how she got so many photos from different perspectives and seemed to be everywhere at once. It was also really special to see the wedding through her photos, which really gives you a different perspective from your own experience and was such a gift. Lindsay Anne is truly a talented photographer and we are so thrilled to have had her for our wedding. It's true that you end up spending a lot of your wedding day with your photographer and we enjoyed every minute of it. She also sent preview shots shortly after the wedding and finished the rest of the photos several days later which was much sooner than I had expected. I highly recommend Lindsey Anne, she is wonderful!"
