Brookside Gardens Forest Wedding Garden In Washington DC

This Brookside Gardens wedding in the Maryland suburbs of Washington DC was straight out of a fairytale! Aimee and Vernon had so many exquisite details alluding to summertime magic, fantasy, and forests. Their friends in their wedding party all created their own wedding outfits, and the whole look came together beautifully. One of my favorite wedding ceremony spots out of the many options at Brookside Gardens is “The Forest,” which is a mulched clearing surrounded by huge mature trees. You’d almost miss it if you didn’t know the small path was there, leading from the main paved path that winds through Brookside Gardens. Aimee and Vernon had an exclusively vegan menu, including a vegan gelato cart at the end of the evening! It was a hot June day in Maryland, but by sundown, everyone was out on the patio enjoying the gentle breeze and soft golden light while they ate their gelato.
