Lindsey & Daniel’s Hawaii Elopement in Kailua-Kona

This July, one of my BEST childhood friends got married. After Lindsey attended sooo many of our friends’ weddings over the last decade, it was extremely special to be together on a beautiful vacation to celebrate her and Daniel’s wedding. We stayed in an Airbnb for 5 nights and right in the middle of the trip, Lindsey and Dan got married on a stunning beach, followed by a very fancy and very intimate dinner at a nearby resort’s restaurant. There were about 20 of us in total, including my husband and two kids :) I’ve never photographed a wedding with my kids in attendance, and it was so fun to be able to get in my usual flow and have candids of them as well as everyone else from throughout the day. Their photos aren’t included in this blog post, but you better believe I will be printing out the one of my daughter standing facing the wide ocean, taking it all in…and the ones that Nate, one of the new friends in the group we made on this trip, took of all four of us hugging and laughing and smooshing our cheeks together right at sunset on the beach :’) plus the ones of my son making all kinds of mischievous faces throughout the day! Lindsey and Dan, we love you sooooo much and can’t wait to celebrate you again at your reception in October! <3
