Rawlings Conservatory Wedding Photography in Baltimore, Maryland
This Rawlings Conservatory wedding in Baltimore, Maryland felt a bit like an editorial shoot - but also with all the wonderful emotion, fun, and spontaneity of a real wedding day! This week as I finished up edits on these images, Jose Villa’s photos of Ivy Getty’s wedding were released. I noticed a lot of little common threads… everything was vintage and classic but with twists of modern, there were glamorous and fun guests, film photography vibes, many neutrals but with fun pops of color… hopefully Olivia and Barnard won’t mind me comparing their day to Ivy and Tobias’s, but it’s meant as a huge compliment that their style came to mind when I flipped through some of the Getty wedding images. :) Rawlings Conservatory is also a city-owned building that is full of beauty and timelessness. It’s one of the top spots I like to recommend to Baltimore visitors! The high glass ceilings and thousands of plants make it the perfect photo and event spot regardless of the weather outside. Olivia’s bridesmaid, her sister, wore a beautiful, earthy shade of green and Olivia carried a stunning bouquet with a unique set of statement flowers incorporated, including orchids and proteas, inspired by the fast that Barnard is originally from South Africa. After a sunset ceremony and some quick portraits around the dusky grounds and greenhouse rooms, they was a dinner of stations throughout the rooms of various favorite cuisines and custom cocktails from the gold-accented bar in the main reception room. The night finished with a fun dance set, which I had a great time photographing as well! Enjoy this peak into their wedding day!
